Certiplace.app ("CertiPlace", "the service", "the platform") is a SaaS (Software as a Service) web application that allows tenants and property managers to document the condition of a rental property through a report with verified photographs, GPS data, dual timestamps (server + blockchain), and an immutable SHA-256 hash record on the Hedera Hashgraph public network.
Important: The report generated by CertiPlace constitutes complementary documentary evidence with verifiable digital proof. It is NOT a notarial deed, official certificate, or public document, nor does it replace any document issued by a public authority or notary. The evidentiary value of the report in any legal proceeding will be determined by the competent authority.
Each report costs $4.99 USD as a one-time payment. Payment is processed securely via Stripe. CertiPlace does not store, process, or have access to any payment card information. The price includes PDF report generation, blockchain sealing on Hedera Hashgraph, download link, and public verification link.
For Brazilian users, an indicative price in BRL is displayed, dynamically calculated based on the current exchange rate. The billing currency is always USD. CertiPlace reserves the right to modify the price of the service with reasonable prior notice.
By using CertiPlace, you agree to:
CertiPlace reserves the right to suspend or terminate access for any user who violates these terms.
CertiPlace generates a documented report with verifiable digital evidence that includes: photographs taken with the device's camera, verified GPS coordinates (latitude, longitude, altitude, accuracy), dual timestamps (server T1 NTP-synchronized + Hedera Hashgraph consensus T2), SHA-256 hash of the complete PDF immutably recorded on Hedera Hashgraph, device fingerprint, and user presence selfie.
The report does not constitute a notarial deed, official certificate, or document with public faith. It is a technological tool providing complementary documentary evidence whose evidentiary value will be determined by the competent authority in each case.
The service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE". CertiPlace does not guarantee that the service will be available without interruption or free of errors, any specific legal outcome resulting from the use of generated reports, or the permanent availability of integrated third-party services, including Hedera Hashgraph, Stripe, and cloud storage providers.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, CertiPlace shall not be liable for: indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages; loss of profits, data, use, or goodwill; damages arising from service interruptions, technical failures, or failures of third-party services (including Hedera Hashgraph and Stripe); or any third-party claims against the user.
CertiPlace's total cumulative liability to the user, for any reason, shall not exceed the amount paid by the user in the preceding 12 months.
No refunds will be issued once the report has been generated and sealed on the blockchain, as the digital service has been fully executed and the blockchain record is irreversible.
Technical failure exception: If a technical failure attributable to CertiPlace prevents report generation after payment confirmation, you may request a full refund by contacting [email protected] with your Stripe order number. Refunds for technical failures will be processed through Stripe within a maximum of 14 business days.
The generated PDF report is available for immediate download after generation and for a limited time via the share link. The report can be recovered within 30 days of purchase using your Stripe order number at certiplace.app/recover.
After 30 days, CertiPlace cannot recover the PDF file. It is the user's sole responsibility to download and securely store their report. The blockchain record (SHA-256 hash) on Hedera Hashgraph is permanent and can always be used to verify a PDF's authenticity, but the PDF cannot be reconstructed from the hash.
